ch 3 sc, ch 3 sc, ch 3 sc...
I actually have a crochet post today:) Let me start it by saying please remind me to NEVER do a granny square afghan again:) Too many tails to weave in. I hate those stinkin things!!! I am finally working on the border of my daughters afghan. Only 13 more rows to go.... I may have to cut it short due to it being a very boring border, and I am ready to be done with it already. Again, it does not look like the picture and it is really frustrating to me. I have only been crocheting for 5 months so I guess I shouldn't be such a perfectionist but I can't help it. This one looks extremely sloppy to me and it is the one that I really wanted to look perfect since it is for my daughter. Do you see those big gaping holes?? I guess I am going to have to do some fancy schmancy work to hide those huge gaps. The picture of the afghan that I got the pattern from is strategically placed so that I can't tell if it has big huge gaps too. In crochet there is also something called the wrong side, and the right side.... What the hell??? I guess I can't tell the difference, I just pick the side that looks best to me and call it the right side:) If you are reading this, and you know how to tell the difference, please feel free to enlighten me!!
I have a million things going now and not enough time. I found out that one of my good friends is expecting her second child so I am going to have to come up with a project for her little one. I think I am going to wait until I find out the gender before I get all crazy with it though. I also picked out a beautiful afghan to make for my sister. I was going to make it for Christmas, however, I think I better make it more like her birthday due to the time factor:) I have to make something for my nieces birthday in September too. I asked her what she wanted and she said a monkey... I guess I will give it a go. With all of the frogs, and my other projects, I think I will be busy for quite some time. Please lord let me finish this boring border already!!
